How will I know if it is Paga sending me an email or whether it is a scam ?

Last Updated: Jan 19, 2015 09:40AM UTC
We have a very robust system that cannot be hacked into but if you need to know, here are some useful pointers to identify scam email messages:
  1. Paga will always send you email messages from the same email addresses, customerservice@mypaga.com, noreply@mypaga.com
  2. If you receive an email from any other email address, DO NOT REPSOND to the message and contact Paga Customer Service immediately on 0700 000 PAGA (0700 000 7242) or at fraudwatch@mypaga.com to report this!
  3. Paga will never ask you for your username, password, or PIN over email. Any email asking you for any of the above information is a scam. DO NOT REPSOND to the message and contact Paga Customer Service immediately on 0700 000 PAGA (0700 000 7242) or at fraudwatch@mypaga.com to report this!
  4. Paga will only send you a confirmation email if you have registered and confirmed your email address with us AND only after you have initiated a transaction from your account.
  5. If you receive an email confirmation for a transaction that you did not initiate or authorize, please call us immediately on 0700 000 PAGA (0700 000 7242).
