Your Paga account is associated with your mobile phone number, but your money is not physically stored “in your phone”.
Even if your mobile phone handset is lost or stolen, nobody can access the money in your Paga account without your authorization.
Your username, password, security question and image are known only to you. They are always encrypted and no one has access to it, not even Paga employees.
Device verification code which serves as Two Factor Authentication also prevent unauthorized user from gaining access into your Paga account.
Paga is also insured by Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NIDC). We will always keep your money safe at Paga.
